Robert Plant: “There is a chance of more one-off live perfomances”

Led Zeppelin’s Robert Plant has confirms that there is a chance of more one-off live perfomance from the band, if the reasoning was right. Speaking about Led Zeppelin reunion show at London’s O2 Arena in December last year he said “Hopefully, one day, we could do it again. Our profit is - it’s metaphysical.”

John Paul Jones added that he and Page spoke afterwards and they both thought the same - it felt like the first night of a tour.

02 Concert Tickets Most Demanded Last Year

According to Tixdaq, concert tickets for Take That and Led Zeppelin were the most demanded tickets on auction sites last year.
Led Zeppelin reunion gig last year reached the highest average ticket price at £707.97.
Some other examples of ticket prices:
Tickets for Paul McCartney’s concert at the BBC Electric Proms reached the average price of £498.14 while the tickets for Ireland’s Electric Picnic festival costed £360.96.

Led Zeppelin to Participate in World Peace Concerts?

World Peace One, a not-for-profit global peace advocacy group is planing to initiate a series of international concerts beginning on May 17.

Concerts are still in discussions, but if they succeeded, they will bring together such international stars like: Led Zeppelin, ZZ Top, Aerosmith, U2, Madonna, Lionel Richie, Celine Dion, INXS, Velvet Revolver, Will I. Am, Justin Timberlake, and Timbaland.

If discussions finish successfully the initiative will begin with a series of concerts on May 17 in Beijing; Istanbul, Turkey; London; Johannesburg; and Miami, as well as the United Arab Emirates, Portugal, Brazil, Puerto Rico, Colombia, India and possibly other locations.

World Peace One’s mission is to bring peace to the world and they are active for already 10-years now with global campaign of concerts, education and government initiatives.

Led Zeppelin 2008 Tour Confirmed

Ian Astbury, lead singer of The Cult has revealed that his band will be a tour support for a recently-reformed legendary band.
According to Billboard, during a gig in Cincinnati on November 17, Astbury said: “We’ll be back next year, because we’re opening for a band you may have heard of. The name starts with an ‘L’ and has a ‘Z’ in it.”
Hearing the announcement, a fan in the audience shouted, “Led Zeppelin.” Astbury nodded an affirmative response, and raised an arm into the air.
Still, the official confirmation from the Led Zeppelin have not been announced yet.

John Paul Jones Performed With Foo Fighters At Grammy Awards

Foo Fighters along with 20 unsigned musicians performed at this year’s Grammy Awards as a part of “My Grammy Moment”. This orchestra was arranged by a special guest conductor John Paul Jones of LED ZEPPELIN.
Foo Fighters received a Grammy for the “Best Hard Rock Performance” at the 50th annual Grammy Awards.
The ceremony was held on Sunday, February 10 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
